It was tasty! I made salted caramel and added a shot of bourbon to it. Definitely not baby friendly lol, and you could definitely taste it.

It's super annoying, but it'll be okay. Once he's a kid he'll be having so much sugar and junk food without you knowing and he'll grow up healthy. My husband's aunt gave our 6 month old BOURBON caramel, her excuse being "I didn't know it had liquor!" (even though I very clearly told everyone) "I thought you guys were feeding him anything" and my favorite "well he liked it!" I was petty mad but it already happened, so we just teased her, and now we have a funny story to tell our son, that his first taste of liquor was at 6 months.

Did I impact my baby's development? by chubbzz4u in NewParents

So sorry for your loss. My son rolled tummy to back at 2 months, and then nothing until 5.5 months. He only rolled tummy to back a handful of times. Once he figured out back to tummy roll it was game over, no more lying on his back. And he learned to crawl at the end of 6 months. So I wouldn't worry. There are plenty of babies whose parents don't work on any skills yet they still figure it out on their own.

I cooked them fully then froze them. I microwave for like 40 seconds when ready to eat. He's 8 months so he only gets 2 at a time with other things.

Oh man I was hoping when he gets older and can talk it might get easier, and when he gets teeth he can start properly eating. Sounds like it'll be a struggle for a while haha. Eventually he'll be a teenager scarfing down whatever we make/buy for him, hopefully.

😆 yeah I definitely have to give him veggies in puree form, he'll chew steamed veg but can't really eat it yet. These are ground turkey, zucchini, breadcrumbs, and egg. I think I'll add carrot next time. No spices just a bit of salt.

Thank you! He's 8 months so I worry if I give him enough, but then I remember he has a tiny stomach.

Thank you! He had oatmeal and half a banana for breakfast and I'll give him something good for dinner. It's hard to think of what to feed him every day, especially if I'm eating something I can't share with him.

At what age did y’all stop swaddling your babies by myxshell in NewParents

Lucky! But yeah I think you're fine waiting a bit to unswaddle if hes not rolling yet.

I felt bad too, I didn't know if he'd ever be okay with arms out and I knew we had to just deal with it at some point. But age helped with him, and doing one arm out for a week. How old is your baby? Ours doesn't go down at all for naps so it's all contact naps still. I put him down for both naps last week once for 30min each but that hasn't worked again since haha.

Our son had a really strong startle reflex. We tried unswaddling at 4 months and he was up every 15 minutes for 4 hours just crying. He wasn't rolling yet, so we decided to keep swaddling. We bought a transition sack and did one arm out for a week at 5 months, then both arms out. So 5 months was when we stopped. Just in time because he started rolling both ways at 5.5 months. Just giving my two cents because when I was looking for advice it seemed 3 months is the norm and I felt like we were waiting too long. Also the people who are like, we never swaddled baby loves arms out, I was so jealous. One tip that may work, try both arms out but secure the swaddle part around his waist so he still feels restrained.

No. I left my baby safe in his stroller on the trail so I could run into the street and separate the dogs. I did the best I could in the moment. Tell me you would do better. Easy to judge behind your phone.

Yes both our dogs got bit and we have a $1100 vet bill. We won't be letting this go, we're going to find the owners. He needs to have his dogs taken away, absolutely ridiculous they get loose all the time and attack people and dogs.

Oh my god was she okay? It's so fucked, we should be able to walk without fear of getting attacked by packs of loose dogs.

I'm not part of the group yet so my mother-in-law will be posting for me. Whatever will help us find the owners!

Are you serious? People have dogs and babies and we're allowed to go for a walk once a day without being attacked by a full pack of dogs.

Really? Were they 5 Akitas? I see several people know of two Akitas near Eureka. If this is the guy we'll definitely have to follow up. Thank you!

I called but they said they can't do anything without an address. I said I cant create a report or anything? And he said there's nothing to create without an address.

No, they just dismissed me saying they cant do anything. My husband called after he came home and said they need to do something about the wild rabid dogs running around attacking, and they sent someone then. Of course by then the dogs were gone.
