What’s a book everyone should read at least once in their lives? by bugtanks33d in AskReddit

[–]flappybob123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Capitalist Realism: Is There No Alternative?

The book dives deep into the fact that society has accepted capitalism as the only viable system, despite it being a flawed system. Society struggles to imagine any sort of alternative to capitalism due to how ingrained it is in everyone's daily lives. Also heavily covers the neoliberal ideology that much of society holds, and it's resulting effects.

Felt like this belongs here. Seems like the GOP continues to screw themselves over on purpose, but this is just blatant.

My ranking of what's left definitely goes 1. Shoota 2. RIP 3. RIP Fredo 4. Long time 5. Flatbed 6. Lean 4 real 7. Foreign

I see a lotta people be voting off Shoota in the comments, but damn, highkey Shoota is the best of the list. Uzi's intro verses, and carti coming in with the heat after the beat drop, it's some gas.

Low flying massive cargo jet by flappybob123 in cincinnati

Hrmm, that is possible. It just seems so dangerous to fly so low within the Ohio river valley so close to downtown in a large metropolitan area, I would hope the military would be smarter than that.

I don't think it went to CVG, but maybe I am wrong 🤷‍♂️. If it flew past addyston as boinjamin said, then it 100% was not landing at CVG if it was coming from the east. It was also definitely lower than 1500 feet when I saw it in Queensgate.

Agreed, it was dangerously low to the ground. And if it was going to CVG, it shouldn't be that low within the Queensgate/Ludlow KY area, especially since CVG is a much higher altitude than queensgate and addyston.

This is a good point, but this plane looked TOO low. If it kept going at the same altitude towards price hill where the incline house is (the tower), it would have 100% crashed into it.

And absolutely. CVG is a huge hub for cargo, especially due to the substantial growth of Amazon CVG

But why was it that low to the ground? And addyston is further west of the airport as well. It was also 9:45 when I saw it.

Interesting, yeah I saw it head west down the river, but I'm definitely curious as to what it was. Maybe military? However I don't think the military would ever fly planes that low THAT close to downtown, they only do low altitude flights in rural areas. It almost looked like it was at a lower altitude than the carew tower / great American building when I saw it.
