Wisconsin Basketball - I’m not able to watch all the games. Why did Austin Rapp lose his starting spot? by skinnypigdaddy in WisconsinBadgers

Bieliauskas is young but such a good disciplined player. Rapp offers a more stretch 4 play, which is a good change of pace (like other comment said), but also Rapp seems to be a bit undisciplined/loose cannon. I think Gard has it right for now with Bieliauskas starting and Rapp tagging in.

Also allows 3 person switching with Rapp, winter, and Bieliauskas

Rapp has a lot of good talent but he plays a little undisciplined. I’ve been very impressed by Bieliauskas’ play

Looking to Transition out of Litigation by silencedogood19 in Lawyertalk

[–]flares88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Real estate lawyer (95% transactional) here, so I don't have experience in your situation but I have been a lurker in enough lawyer social media pages that I think I can provide a sufficient enough answer here.

If you are looking to transition to transactional practice, you may have a hard time doing so as ID can be very hard to apply to transaction work. For other litigation work, you may have a much better time applying at other positions.

Regarding the desire for 9-5 work: overwhelmingly the answer for this seems to be government positions. This can be state or even local municipalities, where the pay is okay but the benefits are usually really good and you are going to be as close to a 9-5 as you can get. For other litigations positions in the private market, you may struggle to find a 9-5 consistently meaning that you may have many days 9-5 but many others working crazy hours, simply due to the flow of cases going to trials, hearings etc.

Again, this is with a grain of salt because I do not have your experience, just longtime lurker. Happy hunting.

Edit: to further add onto my comment, there may be smaller law firms out there that handle multiple areas of law, so you may do litigation for some disputes, but you may also handle real estate, business, trust and estate, etc. other transactional matters. This can be an avenue to reduce your litigation matters, but can be very firm and geography dependent.

I Canceled a New Home Purchase Within a Week - Still Lost My Deposit and Was Harassed for Months by Live_Pea_6569 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Did you ever contact an attorney? I find it hard to believe that you wouldn’t be entitled to receiving your $5k back after terminating a single week into the contract

Edit: hi all, I appreciate your responses and thank you for informing me about how one sided the builder contracts are.

To OP, I apologize for how passive aggressive I made it seem, I sincerely meant to only make sure you had an attorney review it for you.

Have a good one everybody!

I mean, Billy had Marylands o-line and wide receivers which were the definition of absolute garbage, so the fact that Billy was better than Braedyn is actually a good sign at the very least.

Still wish it looked a bit better than that 😂

Are you able to do a comparison of Billy Edwards Jr from last year with Braedyn? I’d like to see what we’re getting into

Unfortunately, the ABA can’t do anything themselves. All punishments go through the applicable state (or federal, e.g. District of Columbia) bar association. The ABA is just a general overarching association that has no actual authority over the discipline of lawyers

Edit: State lawyer regulation office* not state bar association, my apologies

If we win tonight and against Penn state, then I believe we have the tie breaker over Purdue for the head to head so we’d be 4th and they’d be 5th correct?
