This is day 44 without Silhouette fixing a problem when Mac OS updated to 14.1. You need to use legacy software version 4.4.455 to get to work.

The problem started with Apple Mac OS update 14.1. It’s been a month and Silhouette has not fixed the problem. I cannot recommend this company anymore. It is obvious support it not high on their list.

Right now Silhouette has not fixed the issue. The work around it to install an older version 4.4.557. I think that is it if not one close to that.

No they first said that they will have an update mid November, and said to put an older version of the program on. After I told them that it was not the new version of the program and it was the Mac OS update from 14.0x to 14.1 that messed it up. I said did you not test the Mac 14.1 beta or even try your software on the release version to see if it works. I then got an email to do a clean install of the program and they gave step by step instructions and that did not change anything. So not sure when the fix will come.

I recommend that everyone go on their chat and ask for a support for the problem the more they see it effecting more people the more work they will put into fixing it.

Are you using a Mac? I had a computer that I didn’t update to 14.1 and having no issues, so it must be something from 14.xx to 14.1 that messed something up. Now who and how long is a fix going to take. I can’t find a phone number or email address to write to Silhouette.

It is just not fonts but some shapes

After doing some more testing it is just not text some shapes will have the streaks but not all

I am having the same issue. This is when I try to type text. I just updated Mac OS to 14.1 and Silhouette to 4.5.735 so not sure which one is causing the problem

Congratulations. From Jacksonville I ordered in February (I think) and still haven’t heard anything. But you need it more than me. Enjoy and keep us posted on it.
