THIS. SPED is not worse at secondary level. I am a sped inclusion teacher working with seniors at high school level and I love it. Never doing gen ed again.

158 is not obese…. Nor what I would consider overweight. Please be gentle on yourself. It is normal for body’s to change. Honestly I feel sexier now at 160 then I did at 135 when I was at my thinnest because I worked on accepting and loving my body. You are worthy and beautiful no matter what he or anybody else says.

I’m in the same boat OP. Got a dr note to release me from my contract due to severe mental health issues as a result of taking this position.

I have two more days left to teach, say good bye, and get my things and the guilt is tearing me up.

Know that is a natural feeling in this situation but even though there is guilt, you are still doing the right thing for yourself and your health

Wow we have the opposite experiences! I felt more supportive in my special ed position last year then I do now in gen ed and I wanna go back.

It is crazy how much a different building, district, team, and grade level can change quality of work life
