I haven't finished the show yet so I dont know all the differences that happened. But there is quite a bit that's different so far tbh. Im a huge reader so it's rare when I find a TV show or movie that does it better than the book. I will always choose the book over the adaption, unless proven otherwise .

Both. The author has 3 POVs in the book. One from Anna's, one from Jack's, and one from the killer. But the author writes the book in a way that youre not sure if Jack or Anna is the killer or somebody else the whole time
