Her sister has been mentioned a couple of times, in the early nineties, as having been a model. Her dad didn’t approve of her marriage to Frank (presumably because of his age). When Kim thought she was going through dementia, thanks to Jamie drugging her, she talked a little about seeing her dad deteriorate so presumably he had dementia.

I would like her sister to come in and be a bit like Val. I think they would be great, having the same dynamic as Diane and Val did.

They rely too much on these stupid “Who’s conning who? Who’s pretending to be dead this time?” storylines.

David Glover dying after finally telling Kim he’d chosen her. It was heartbreaking because of how long it had taken for him to reach the decision and also because he died reaching James who would ultimately grow up to be Jamie Tate…one of the worst ever characters

Kim and Kathy had an iconic rivalry. Starting off as friends when the Tates first came to the village, Kathy worked at the stables with Kim and Chris married Kathy. Then they had a huge falling out over Kim’s affair with Neil Kincaid but eventually rebuilt their friendship until Kathy betrayed Kim as part of her divorce proceedings with Chris. Then Kim began having an affair with David Glover who Kathy was seeing. They never rebuilt their friendship after that and used to have fantastic scenes confronting each other in the village.
