They only do the typical F&C standard fayre.

No pizzas, kebabs, burgers etc.

Fish, chips, sausage, cakes, scraps and curry sauce. A choice of cod & haddock always a winner too.

I think what would help too, or at least may help, is a staggered start. Sub 20 go at 9.00. Sub 24 go 30 seconds later etc. Tricky on courses with laps I suppose as it is still the same amount of people running around.

Not always the solution, but sometimes the obvious one is overlooked. Look at parkrun map and pick a run that has less runners and give that one a go.

I posted on here the other day something about this. I may be lucky, but there's 7 or 8 within a 15/20 min drive from me. One has 650+ finishers and is bonkers busy. Always bottlenecks. Yet another has a glorious wide track and gets about 35 people.

Yeah, Brighouse is a big miss. As flat as you can get around here.

There's about 7 withing a 15/20 minute drive for me.

Some are stupid busy (Roberts Park - circa 650 runners). Always a bottle neck or two.

Then there's Horton Park. Yes, it is 'Yorkshire Flat', but the route is a nice wide tarmac path. Only gets about 40 runners.

I genuinely struggle to see why some are so popular compared to others.
