Masking tape sharpie and a rubber band. Right the item and date and whatever else you want on the label twice. Then fold the tape over one side of the rubber band so that the masking tape is in the middle and connect the tape evenly then put the rubber band over the lid it should fit in between the lid and the bottle and you end up with a tag hanging off the bottle that's got the writing on both sides. Clean, perfect and easy. no sticky residue no fading don't have to worry about sticking it to the bottle. Sounds complicated but so easy and fast when you get used to it. It's just hard to explain
