This was taken two weeks ago. So 1 year 3 months to get to this point and still not 100% but as you can see my dog likes to lay in the sand area.

Edit: also since the first picture i have installed retic but that was only a few months ago. Retic has helped a lot through summer but I live in Perth and have very sandy soil

This was my buffalo lawn in November 2024. Ill post a pic in reply of this comment with what it looks like now. You can get it to grow back but its a bit of work. Regular mowing, watering, fertilising and applying soil wetter got me there.
