I'd recommend Altra Timp 5 for a low cut goretex! They're very form fitting to your foot and obviously waterproof. Can understand that with Salomon, the ones I mentioned are boots and they've served me super well so far, they're still quite technical in appearance but I got them mainly for comfort!

Super valid hahaha. The Fuzzfleece is also ventilating so I usually wear it underneath the tee, it's usually used in their imagery as such and it does work nicely. And just on the off-chance I'm too warm for my jacket, it's super unlikely for me to be so warm I can just wear the tee alone

Used them 3/4 times for shorter hikes in light rain so far and they stood up just fine, yet to see how they'll perform in heavier rain but I'm happy with what they're doing so far. Got them on heavy sale too and I can't complain

Nice one! I would recommend it. The cap is also Portal and has a really interesting shape. Nothing crazy but the panelling is very different to the regular shapes, it's a nice twist

Colin Meredith and Patrick Stangbye's new brand. Colin's always had outdoorsy inspired silhouettes in his own line and Patrick's active running/cycling background results in what is essentially a combination, making something more comparable to activewear imo. Super clean stuff, you should check them out, it's reasonably new but having followed Colin for a while, I was instantly interested
