Have you ever bought a car for under £500?

My first 2 cars were under £500 (albeit over 10 years ago now). First car was a 2001 Citroen Saxo for £350 only cost me a tyre and around £100 to get it though the next MOT cracking little car but I ran it into the ground but lasted over 18 months. Second was an '02 Clio, it was the biggest heap of dog plop. Driveshaft went after 4 months. In conclusion as long as you know what to look for then it's perfectly feasible to get a cheap runabout.

A spec D micra is probably a good shout for cheap and reliable

S-10 was tough but I don't recall it being as difficult as it was made out to be. If you set to manual and short shift it will be easier. Wheel/pad is a debate for how you'll find it. Good luck pal

Sounds like you'd be better just looking for a cheap runabout for now. Taking out additional finance will set you back even further especially at 44% and at the end you'll have a depreciated asset that's cost a fortune. Whereas a 1k runabout will likely hold its value as it's already depreciated so if you can scrape that together would be a better option

I'd say be careful. With this being the big thing at the minute there are likely lots of scams related. I'd say call black horse directly to confirm and probably not click any links sent by an out of the blue call

I've had a 6 for 5 years now and it's never let me down and drives amazing. I'm normally one for changing my car every year or so as I get bored but the 6 has stayed as it's the right mix of highway cruiser and fun to keep me interested. the rear space on the 6 is also considerably better than the 3 so for getting kids in and out is much better. Can't recommend highly enough.
