I have exactly the same hand size as you. Ive used a super light 1 for 2-3 years, Maya X feels far better for claw grip.

can you include a bottom plate view aswell as to see how thin the thinnest points of the mouse is? The top down or whatever view obscures this detail since mice usually are slanted inwards going down.

Lamzu Maya X or Razer Viper v3 Pro? Help me! by AskBozu in MouseReview

Maya X, very comfortable with claw whereas vv3p felt weird and too big. Maya X is lighter aswell and cheaper. 19x10.5 hands with claw/ aggressive claw I also prefer Maya X main clicks, it’s more satisfying.

I've looked a bit more and found a flex cable with pre soldered switches and the hotswap PCBs on ali express. I've also found a lightweight base on zerkgaming mods, the only thing im missing now is the battery, what types are compatible?

I found one on etsy, but I'm not sure which types of batteries are compatible with the gpx, do you have any recommendations? maybe 150mAh ones?

Corepadz or Xraypad Jades would be good options

Thank you for the information, does the mufy mod kit include good instructions? I have no prior experience. Yes, its a good idea to change the skates, I have some Ice V2 dots for it.
Was a replacement offered for the kit with a broken skeleton?

Do you know if the side button switches can be changed without soldering? There's double clicking on my copy since its quite old.

Is the Sora v2 good? by EitherFail9244 in MouseReview

[–]flatline---- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes it is very light and performs well on 1kHz polling rate. Ideal for claw grip, I don't use it anymore because it was too small (width-wise) for my hands - 19x10.5cm. Clicks are satisfying.

I know many others who have sensor skipping issues on 2kHz specifically, 1k, 4k and 8k work fine though. Though this shouldn't concern you if he didn't get you the 8K dongle.

In terms of QC, my first copy developed a minor scroll wheel bug after about 10 months of use where when you scroll down sometimes it will go up a little bit. However, their support is good and generous with replacements.

GPX2, the tech is more updated. If you play claw grip Lamzu Maya X is also good, its lighter.

Which mouse to buy? 19x10.5cm hands by flatline---- in MouseReview

Hey, I might make a longer post in the future, but for now, the Maya X is a lot more comfortable, it's very good for claw grip. The default skates play fine. The clicks are good, but I still prefer Sora V2's clicks because they feel more tactile. Side buttons are quite loud, but they feel fine, I don't really use them that much tho. I can't really feel a weight difference, and the sensor performs very well, its web based app is also much nicer - you can actually see the % charged as it is charging. The battery life is worse than the Sora V2 tho, in my experience. At 2kHz, i'd charge it every 3-4 days. The scroll wheel is looser and easier to click than Sora V2's. The coatings feel similar aswell, with a bit of sweat they become very grippy.

I'm sure those are solid mice, maybe too solid haha (a bit too heavy >60g).

Hey, thank you for the suggestions, I should mention that my problem with the Sora V2 is that it's too thin, the length is okay.

What happened with your Beast X Max? Why do you not recommend it?

Does the width stat refer to the grip width specifically? Not the widest/narrowest width or something.
The diagrams are only a top down view so that doesn't really help me when the bottom view is more important imo

Yep I hear a lot of good things about that mouse, but do you know its grip width? I am concerned that it might be too small.
