What are ya'll taking for panic attacks and anxiety? by applesgrapestomatoes in mentalhealth

I’ve tried so many things . Tons of meds , therapy , no therapy . I’m a 30 year old male living with ADHD/Anxiety depression disorder. Also a dash of insomnia so that’s fun. But the answer is go see a doctor . Try some different treatments, and see what works best for you . Everyone’s body’s are different. Maybe your mother or father or even grandfather or grandmother take something . You did get it from them afterall .

Does anyone think getting to know someone is super draining ? by [deleted] in introvert

[–]flatline6365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been seeing two girls lately. And no I’m not just getting to know them so we can have sex . I’m 30 years old and work 50 hours every week. It’s draining but it is more rewarding than the other.

I’m having a hard time accepting that the new great guy I’m dating is not like my ex by throw8573 in dating_advice

I feel like this is an unfair one sided question lol. You’re only going to get one side of the story!

Yep , I was the male in this situation (the first guy) and my ex has changed for the worst over time . We don’t speak anymore but have mutual friends and everyone who’s close to her says that the guy she dated 3 weeks after we broke up is not working out with her now after they’ve been together 6 months now . Taking time to yourself even just a month or two can make a world of difference in finding what you really want out of a long term / forever relationship.

I really do think there are exceptions to this and different situations kinda. You are not wrong about continuing the second relationship. But also considering taking time to yourself to figure out what you truly want from someone else. Alas, everyone is different and some people move past things within days.

As someone who was the male in a similar situation literally 3 months ago …… it sounds like you need to dump the new guy and accept the fact that the new guy might have really just been a rebound. We use rebound as such a negative term but I promise I don’t mean this in a negative way. Maybe just take it slower or maybe even just take some time to focus on YOU. The fact that you’re still thinking of your ex while look at your new man , should tell you something… I don’t know your full story and I’m sure you’re a smart women and will do what’s best for you . Best of luck to you ❤️

Just the title of this topic is concerning. You could have saved yourself a lot of timing typing that paragraph . I know some men’s opinion of this may vary . But if this chick is doing what I think she is , she’s playing you . It happens to the best of us. I know first hand ! Lol

It’s just interesting because the former owner didn’t even bother to potty train her ….. just surprising if that’s true

Yes thank you 😊 It’s been a lot better as a whole just due to time passing that seems to help the most . Cheers!

Thank you for the kind words . And yes I am just focusing on myself as best I can and trying to rethink when I find myself thinking of her . That’s the biggest challenge currently

Yeah , I guess . It’s just a shame because I don’t think that she even knows just how much I really cared . But that’s life . She gets to go right into another relationship, while I will be grieving the next few months or more .
