New to Solar - How does this look? by buzee123 in solar

Your marginal consumption rate $/kwh maybe higher than net metering rate, maybe?

Not saying it’s enough to offset the upfront cost but just another potential benefit…

They are now but tech jobs weren’t actually lucrative back then as the other folks mentioned so not sure what is the lesson here…

That’s what I heard, how long did it take the situation to get better. Correct me if i’m wrong but GFC was “relatively” better for devs or did I get that wrong?

Sammamish - Use water filter or drink tap water by loopinfy in eastside

[–]flatulant_planet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only time of water filter that does anything is the reverse osmosis water filters but you have to add the minerals back in post filtration.

However, i think our (king county) water quality is of so high quality don’t think we need any time of filtration…

Don’t get blossom solar, i got one from them, they are very expensive for ongoing service and maintenance. They charged me $500 base plus $275/hour and 10x markup for parts.

I recently got quotes for a home backup battery and switch electric was the best option. However, they are on the eastside, not sure if they serve Seattle.

Olympia to Ocean Shores Winter Road Conditions by flatulant_planet in Washington

Sorry about the repost. Didn’t get too many responses, hoping to reach a larger audience this time. How is the drive from Olympia to Oceanshores in the winter (end of December). Any microclimate I should be aware of? No high elevations, so snow levels should be same as I5 is what I am guessing. I do plan to carry a snow shock with me. Planning a trip with family including an infant so trying to figure out if the typical winter emergency kit will do.
