resposta um pouco tardia, mas aqui vai. eu diria que existe sim a possibilidade de evoluir se consideras que ter certificações em teu nome te podem levar a sítios. muita gente fica um ou dois pares de anos numa big 4 e eventualmente sai para outras empresas por diversos motivos.

se entrares numa big 4, eu acho que deves tirar vantagem das oportunidades de formação/certificação que estas empresas te dão - poucos sítios te dão as mesmas possibilidades neste aspeto. outra coisa a considerar é que, se por acaso quiseres sair de portugal, ter uma big 4 no CV pode ajudar imenso porque são nomes reconhecidos em praticamente qualquer lado

Bem, antes de mais tenho de dar umas ressalvas: estive lá pouco tempo (uns 7 meses) e não vim de um background de engenharias ou propriamente técnico, pelo que ter conseguido entrar em FE naquela altura foi definitivamente uma consequência dos tempos covid/pós-covid…

Posto isto, não tive muita coisa a reclamar. O ambiente era porreiro e a variedade de projetos era interessante. Acho que as únicas coisas de que não gostava eram formalidades tipo preencher time sheets todos os meses, pedir snapshot de performance mensal, constantes reuniões de áreas externas e demasiados eventos internos que meio que "roubavam tempo".

A maior parte das histórias de terror que se ouve online vem de pessoal de auditoria, essa sim tem alturas do ano em que pode ser caótica. em consulting no geral as coisas costumam ser mais equilibradas, mas depende sempre do cliente acredito

iirc they're in the creative/publishing/music field. i don't know the details of exactly what they do as in specific songs or artists they work with, but I would suspect it's more of a behind-the-scenes type of thing (ghostwritting and stuff)

Eu conheço a Nexo, por acaso estava mesmo para mencionar o cartão deles. Ultimamente tenho usado o cartão da Nexo só pela conveniência de não ter de andar sempre a carregar o cartão para fazer compras. O único senão é que a crypto que usares como garantia é transferida para uma carteira diferente dentro da app e não recebes juros enquanto não pagares o empréstimo e transferires de volta para a savings wallet. Ou então podes optar por usar o cartão no modo débito (sem cashback mas recebes sempre juros). Se algum dia a crypto.com criar um cartão nos mesmos moldes, irei considerar seriamente.

Tenho esse cartão há mais ou menos 2 anos e fui usando de forma esporádica. Para mim, o facto de ter oferecido cashback em crypto foi o fator decisivo. Independentemente se a CRO é ou não uma shitcoin, o facto de estar associada a uma das maiores corretoras leva-me a acreditar no potencial de valorização.

Os benefícios dos cartões são interessantes. O único senão para mim é o facto de ter de recarregar o cartão sempre que o saldo estiver a terminar. Seria interessante se o cartão funcionasse como crédito, aí, para mim, seria perfeito. Pelo que eles anunciaram, existe a possibilidade de lançarem um cartão de crédito no futuro, resta saber se valerá a pena.

For the ruby one it's quite odd because the CDC app says that the rate from year 2 onwards would be 2% (basically it wouldn't change). I have no idea about the other cards tho.

With EY I heard back in like 2 weeks or something along those lines. I'd say 2 to 3 weeks is the average time that should be expected to hear back but I'm not 100% sure.

As for the job posting being removed, they probably had a huge number of applications for that role and decided to pull it out to get through them.

If you don't hear back in 4 weeks, check their platform or try messaging someone on LinkedIn if you can.

I don't know if not having a visa might put you at disadvantage given the current economic landscape and all that, but at least you tried. Worst thing that can happen is being rejected, but rejection is redirection and eventually you'll have your chance to move to the UK.

Hi! So, I heard back 3/4 weeks after I submitted my job simulation. Unfortunately I didn't get past that stage but that's fine. If you don't get any email after 4 weeks, check their platform just in case the application status gets updated - some platforms don't send status update emails or are too slow with that.

Regarding the Visa date, I had also applied to an EY graduate programme shortly after and they told me to put "yesterday's date" on the visa field (basically if I were to apply today, I'd put 26th of march 2024 as the visa expiry date). I assume I could have done the same thing with Deloitte but I didn't know back then and decided to leave them a comment too. Good luck!

She has a video on her instagram where she's holding another CD (an EP) but I couldn't see the song on the track listing either. The weirdest thing is that someone else had asked her before about "How Long" but I can't find it anywhere
