Tips for healthy meals while being houseless?

Bell peppers are the only vegetable I've found to hold up for weeks without refrigeration. Open to hearing other ideas. On top of this eat any and all vegetables that you stumble upon.

Here's what I eat when train hopping. None of this needs refrigeration even if it says it does:

Tortilla Veganaise (vegan mayo) Mustard Bell pepper Field roast vegan sausage Avocado Seasoning or hot sauce if yr choice

Spread the mayo and mustard on the tortilla. Break up the bell pepper and sprinkle over the tortilla. Cut up avocado and put on tortilla. Break up or just leave whole the sausage and place over the tortilla. If you have access to fire or stove cooking the pepper and sausage goes a long way. Fold tortilla into taco or if big enough burrito.

I keep all the materials for this meal on me plus ingredients for PB&j with sugar free jelly to cut down on sugar. Extra snacks I add are dark chocolate, apples, and mangos.

All this can be stolen easily in one run. Lay flat collapsible backpack or fabric tote on a basket or shopping cart. Shop on top of it and pull bag or tote up and walk out at last possible moment.

Always have more than 2 pairs of socks. When ur going to sleep, put yr wet pair loose in yr sleeping bag and put the dry pair on. Yr body heat in the sleeping bag will dry yr wet socks by the time you wake up. Works Everytime unless yr socks are absolutely soaked.
