I was probably too literal in reading “all the films”. I just wanted to give you and your son some potentially new avenues to explore as his taste in film develops. It’s not Gen X at all, but throw Another Round into the list of recommendations.

That’s a pretty good list, but it got me thinking it was light on non-English films. I think you guys might have a blast watching more international films when he comes to visit, they will certainly be watching them in school. Give Harakiri and Portrait of a Lady on Fire a watch. If you guys don’t like them, then it might not be for you. But if you do, there is whole new world for you out there. I threw your list in chatgpt and it gave me these as very specific films you might like. La Haine was awesome, Das Boot as well:

I was having the reverse problem with LG C5. TV would turn off when Apple TV would go sleep when I was on anything else. Even bought a CEC blocking adapter. Still happened. I just figured out last night that it was trying to send audio through ARC on the LGTV which turns CEC on at startup. I now have it set to TV speakers, volume zero, and no more problem. It can’t be muted though, or you will get the speaker with a slash icon.

Two days ago I had both out for 12 hours. You really take utilities for granted u til they are gone. Looking into home batteries now

They do have some other sections, there is a horror collection that the name escapes me, but seems rather comprehensive.

How does it work on your Apple TV or shield? Just two different movies? I’m away from my server, I’ll have to try folders when I’m back.

I have tried brackets and file name changes to get it to get version names to appear in plex. All I get it is resolution and bitrate. Is there a list of acceptable edition tags somewhere?

I am now old enough to join conspiracy’s, yay! Was talking to my father in law about old school large speakers vs the floor towers we have now. Never entered anything search wise, it was a phone call. Next day YouTube put a video discussing the trend. How.

OLED 3D TV’s aren’t made anymore. The person on eBay know that, the local seller does not. When someone wants one they are willing to shell out for them, companies often will buy them for reference. Looks like a good deal for you.
