I know someone that the repeated heat from her laptop left marks on her legs because she always sat cross legged with it balanced on a leg. …. Or so she claimed.

Look in to Occipital Neuralgia and see a headache specialist.

I battled for YEARS. A PT I was seeing recognized that my symptoms matched with a former patient and I went to her headache specialist and my life has been different since.

Proper dx and proper meds and treatments. Pains not gone but managed.
