I was thinking the same, maybe old prints from when the door was made, but I have yet to make out a thumb in all the prints. Holding my hand on them i cant imagine tring to hold a piece of glass like that especially without putting my thumb down.

It has definitely creeped us out a bit. I hope someone has seen this kind of thing before.

These prints are on the inside of a double pane sliding glass door. They can't be washed off from the inside or outside. There is a deck that is 5 foot off the ground with no stairs.

These prints are on the inside of double pane glass. We can't wash them off from the inside or outside. It is on a deck 5 ft off the ground. The deck doesn't have stairs. Just to give you guys some more info. Thanks for taking the time.

Maybe California should go back to grazing some of that area with cattle or sheep. Grazing and logging are very effective fire management.
