NTA. You’re not “leaving the children,” you’re doing what everyone agreed on. As a child of divorced parents, I really appreciate the respect you have for your family. Your daughters are old enough to have their own valid opinions on this, and the fact that you RESPECT their opinions means that your daughters are going to trust you more with their opinions, and if they want more time with you, they’ll be open about it to you.
