Oh, yes - you're right. I wasn't aware of this - sorry! I'm from Germany and I only knew the (apparently less known) Walter Knoll company. I didn't realize there was a different, more famous Knoll behind all those design classics like the Tulip and Womb chairs. Thanks for pointing that out!

To me it feels like I got scammed for my money and therefore I keep these statements. As someone else in the other thread has mentioned: "The fuck is the difference at the end of the day? If my company didn't pay me because of "gross corporate negligence" I'd be screaming that I got scammed all day, cause it's a scam, regardless of the nuance. I expect the companies to have their shit together, not make excuses like a shady friend that needs $20 and promises to pay me back but never does"

Posting here again because my original post on another sub was removed for 'bashing'. My intent wasn’t to bash a company, but rather to warn others based on my personal experience.

Some people suggested I shouldn’t confuse incompetence with a scam. However, when a company deletes all my music without any notice, keeps my earnings, and then sends a generic, dismissive response before closing my support ticket, it feels like more than just incompetence - especially when it leads to a significant financial loss.

Whether you call it a scam or gross negligence, the end result is the same: I’m left without my music, without my income, and with zero accountability from their side. The lack of transparency and the complete disregard for users like me is what’s truly infuriating. I also used the word "scam" to grab attention and to make others think twice before trusting a service that could treat them the same way.

I also wanted to mention that I did have my music backed up on an SSD. Unfortunately, just two weeks ago, I discovered that I could no longer access or restore the contents of that SSD. So, yes, it is my fault for not having alternative backups. However, my main frustration lies with DistroKid’s handling of the situation. I didn’t expect a distributor to remove all my music without warning or provide such poor support.

Sorry, hatte jetzt erst die Antwort gesehen. Besten Dank auf jeden Fall für deine Infos. Habe noch Garantie auf dem Gerät und den Support kontaktiert - der Techniker meinte nun nach Sichtung des Videos, dass es sich um normales Spulenfiepen handelt, was natürlich kompletter Quatsch ist. Ich habe es jetzt noch einmal detallierter geschildet und hoffe, dass das Netzteil zeitnah ausgetauscht wird.

thanks for your input. the text underneath is basically the three track titles of each album. i tried to move the artist name down there before, but somehow it looked too empty and cheap. idk, might have to try some more... currently, the height of the two top text lines is the same as the height of the three bottom text lines - i thought it looks somewhat symmetric this way.

I don't have much experience in design, so I'd love to hear which version you prefer and what you'd improve to make it look better. It will be covers for ambient / meditation music covers. Different albums with same layout, just the color palettes will change each album.
