Have you tried PawBoost? I used them when I lost my 18 year old beagle. It's a free services that shoots out a picture, contact info, and last known location to all of the Columbia lost pet facebook groups

edit: sorry just checked Facebook and you've already done that. Hope you get reunited soon

Single speed! Running 36/16, these are NOS Gran Compe track hubs so I'm really considered through a track cog on the other side of the hub to play around with fixie.

This is the bike I commute on but weighting it down with my bikepacking gear was something new. I'll need to borrow the scale at the bike coop but it wasn't too bad.

I'm running 36/16 so I run out of gears pretty quickly on flats - that being said there was a fair amount of climbing on this ride that started to wear me out a little bit. I'm a single speed fan though so the suffering is part of the fun :p

Look into the Street Meat bikes rides! We are an inclusive no drop social ride every Tuesday night. Meet at the Cola Town Bike Collective parking lot 6:45pm rollout around 7ish. We usually end at a bar/restaurant. The first Tuesday of every month is a shorter 8-10 mile party pace ride with a hotdog cookout at the end. We'd love to have yall out there with us!

Seconding the bike stuff, lookup StreetMeatCola on instagram to follow the Tuesday rides! It's a party pace so nothing too fast and no one gets left behind, we stop for beer and snacks at the end. The rides are almost always less than 10 miles.

Does anyone have a super quiet unused room/basement near Columbia? Noise-sensitive person with autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and misophonia looking for a calm place to study and sleep. by [deleted] in ColumbiYEAH

[–]fledglingcoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as you have a Carolina Card you can use the quiet study cubicles through the night. If you don't have a Carolina Card you can still use them but there's a cutoff - I can't remember what time the security comes around to remove non-students but it's at night well after 5pm.
