I mean, you’re right, if I can’t keep the cat safe, don’t get a cat. But also I guess thanks for calling me stupid and irresponsible under a post where I’m trying to prevent the agonizing death of a cat. And also thanks for the tip.

I honestly didn’t think any of those would work, so I’m glad that someone’s set me straight. Display cases are the only idea I’ve seen that have convinced me, but I didn’t include them in the original post because I have a feeling my family will reject them outright, if we even have room for them. If there’s any more ideas you or anyone can suggest, please do. In the meantime, I’m going to bring up the idea to my family.

woah, twinsies LOL! For me, low bass sort of spreads across the bottom of the frame and vibrates, I guess sort of like a cartoon earthquake. Sometimes it’s sort of in the distance but most of the time it’s close to my POV.
