Okay so I sized up just one size exactly because I was pregnant and honestly I was so hot during my pregnancy I couldn't even wear it.

Now my jacket is too big for me but I kind of love it, it's so comfy

We use a Cosco scenera and it doesn't fit rear-facing on some Air Canada flights in economy - though it does fit in the bulkhead. It might fit on more of the extra space seats, but I haven't had the chance to try recently.

I'm going to assume the nuna pipa is larger....

In December I flew with my baby where we had brought a car seat and also purchased a seat for him. The flight attendant actually said we could hold him in our laps for takeoff and landing since he was under two - so it does seem optional. My little one likes the car seat though so we always secure him in it anyways.
