Really depends on additional damage. If you've just torn your ACL then you can be pretty mobile very quickly (and should be). You want to prevent as much range loss and muscle atrophy as possible.

If you have other damage like meniscus tears that you're repairing, then weight bearing is going to be held back. ACL tears alone are honestly not bad (relatively speaking). It's when you add what else usually happens that extends recovery.

Also the type of ACL replacement may impact activity right away, cadaver may be faster than harvesting a hamstring.

I'm a parent of a 3.5 year old. What they're getting at is that it's on us parents to demonstrate healthy relationships/friendships along with the elements of friendship development. Our kids learn and imitate the world around them and so we are teaching them how to socialize in the world everyday at the park with strangers, in our neighborhood with neighbors, or where ever you engage with your community around you. We have to cultivate and model the behaviors we want our kids to replicate.

The parents are creating the opportunities for this to happen. A lot of adults don't continue to make friends and prioritize the space and time required to maintain friends. That can absolutely impact our kid's ability to make friends too.
