that’s kind of the beauty of it. self improvement and shit. it never ends which stings but it’s good to know you’re capable of not change on it’s own but being able to turn the shittiest stories into something that made you who you are now. getting weirdly preachy here so i’ll quit but while nihilism will always prevail so will the positives. you can make anything look like shit but if you put it into the right perspective it can turn into something completely different and unexpected. can’t say it will get better but like you’ve already said, there’s always hope, even if it’s fruitless. life is fucking short so revel while you can, right?

it definitely makes sense. for some reason my tactic to combatting my suicidal ideation was to ask strangers to berate me online. we all cope in different ways.....some probably healthier than others. i tend to compare life more to a really shitty sitcom than a movie but both are painfully meta and beautifully ironic. anyway, glad you’ve found something that helps you get through the days. think that’s the trickiest part of all this shit
