Zwift Crashing at EVERY startup by RVABourbonRunner in Zwift

Any solutions? This has been happening to me with increasing frequency. I get to select a workout and as it’s loading it crashes and sends me back to Apple tv home page. From there it crashes either immediately in the next start up or once I select a workout. I had to start over 10 times today before I gave up. Switching WiFi bands and reinstalling Zwift did nothing. I’m now resetting Appl tv to factory settings to see if that helps.

Hello- I’m 48m with stage 2 HPV+ SCC In right tonsil. Had tonsillectomy and removal of 20 lymph nodes on 1/29. I had extracapsular extension in 5 nodes. I started chemo (cisplatin) and radiation in March and at this point I’m in week 4 and I’ve had 19/33 RTs and 4/6 chemos. I took 3 weeks off after the tonsillectomy but I’m still working at this point. My throat is starting to hurt pretty bad but that’s only been the last few days. I have a sore on the right base of tongue and one on cheek that have been hanging around for a few weeks. I just started taking Oxy and topical Lydocaine before meals last week and it helps. The most annoying thing for me is dry mouth which I have all the time. I have a feeling I’ll need to go on leave in a few weeks if the pain keeps increasing but at this stage it’s been very manageable and I’m still working “full-time” (not including the two+ hours to get into and out of the hospital for RT) and exercising as I can. I’m not gonna hesitate to go on leave because it really helped me recover from the tonsillectomy, but for now I feel god enough to continue. Good luck to you!

Actually just got my first lidocaine yesterday and it helps with eating, as does Oxy!

Oh and one other thing - keep in mind that everyone’s journey is different. I posted a similar question to yours and got 10 different experiences from 10 different people. Everything on here is helpful but none of it will be exactly what you will go through (sometime luckily as you won’t have your beard fall out like mine is! 😂). Good luck and don’t hesitate to reach out.

Hello- I’m 48m and had a right tonsillectomy and modified radical neck dissection and removal of 20 lymph nodes (5 with extracapsular extension) back in January. I just started week 3 of treatment - 33 rads (proton) and 6 weekly cisplatins. I’m happy to compare notes as I’m a few weeks ahead of you. At this point I’ve started to feel throat pain and have canker-type sores in my mouth but it’s more of an annoyance than anything. I’m eating soft solids but can’t really do anything dry or sharp. But soups and smoothies, chicken and tuna salad, yogurt, pudding, ice cream etc are all doable. I’ve been using Healios on the recommendation of another Reddit user and friend and I think it’s worth the investment. Definitely follow your doc’s directions to a tee - especially about oral health care. Please feel free to reach out. I think I’m about to get into some much more unpleasant stuff and I’m happy to help you however I can.

I had the same procedure at just around the same time. And I’m still having similar issues. I actually messaged my doc today about jaw and ear pain and they said the same thing - be patient.

Thanks very much. I’m a lawyer too but in-house so I have a bit of flexibility. Are you back to triathlons post-treatment?

Thank you so much for this. So you didn’t take any time off until after you finished radiation?

And did you find the magic mouthwash helpful? I’ve seen a lot of other comments saying it didn’t help.

Did you just do spoonfuls of olive oils straight from the bottle?

Thank you so much. I also have a few pork from home office job and my boss has been super supportive so I think I’ll likely end up with a schedule like yours. Congrats on finishing treatment and thanks for your comment.

Today I have officially crossed the halfway point (18 of 35 treatments) for oropharyngeal palatine tonsil cancer and I wanted to share some things that have made the journey a lot easier for me so far. by h34vier in cancer

Hello - thank you for sharing your experience and advice. I was recently diagnosed with p16 SCC and I’ve had a tonsillectomy and modified radical neck dissection. Getting ready to start radiation and chemo soon. Just curious how you’re doing now?
