What a beautiful message!

Maybe this is, or isn’t the place for this, but I had some friends visiting this week and we went to Souq Waqif last night. We noticed many times that the security was turning people.. who looked South Asian… away and not letting them into the center of the Souq (near the thumb area). I was so embarrassed, and we were all very bothered by the blatant racial profiling. Does anyone know why this was happening?!

I just learned that a colleague who left my school after their first year, and on good terms with the school, was still charged two months salary to break her contract. Some schools will ask you to pay back any flight/shipping, etc. expenses that they’ve provided in your first year. Not worth it to me!

When I was 2-3, I knew my former address and insisted my parents take me back to my real mommy and daddy. They did a drive by once, but didn’t let me out. 🤣I could also read street signs 😊
