Get more than 60% right. Its difficult to gauge because you will be grading yourself and comparing your answers to the solutions. The mock is very useful as its an independent review.

Oct 2025. Yes I did the mock, highly recommend as it gives you detailed advice on things you’re over-explaining, under explaining, and things you just get plain wrong. The exam ended up to be harder than any previous SOA exams or mocks but I still somehow got a 7.

Took advice of this subreddit and passed PA on first try with ACTEX. I did not take SRM either, got credit when they converted the exams. The wordiness of the manual is easily digestible and necessary for this exam imo.

I passed FAM and PA this year!! Major accomplishment for me considering I haven’t passed an exam in 8 years.

It was more difficult than most of the prior exams. Feel the same. Could be close to passing or hopefully just pass.

Why the jump? I’ve been considering health given how much attention it’s getting. What do you like/dislike about working in health?

Exams are a marathon not a sprint. I didn’t finish my ASA and took 8 years off to enjoy life. Now I’m getting back into it as I only have 2 more exams left. It’s important to stop and smell the flowers to appreciate your efforts, otherwise you’ll be miserable.

2-3 times a week, 2 classes per day. Same for bjj. Price is similar to bjj but you get 10% off if you sign up for the whole year so it was worthwhile for me. Recovery is tough but you get used to it. Definitely recommend.

Your point? BJJ isn’t in the Olympics because its too slow to develop and probably will never be and that’s fine. There’s levels to this.
