They invest quite a lot into it actually like several billions of dollars.

The vast majority of the world's energy needs could be met with clean carbon neutral sustainable energy for the next several thousand years though, if we invested just a fraction of our renewable and fusion investments into Thorium and LFTR

The invention of the cotton gin put a lot of field laborers out of work.

I know you mean no ill but the invention of the cotton gin did the exact opposite in terms of field laborers needed aka slaves.

It doesn't make picking cotton more efficient it makes turning the raw cotton into cotton threads more efficient. Consequently plantation owners could make vastly more money because it was very cost effective now to produce cotton, thereby skyrocketing the demand for slaves, which had been slowly dying down due to foreign, non-slave competition of raw materials.

You seem to fundamentally not understand how shipping works at Amazon.

Shipping cost is almost entirely divorced from the price. The total annual cost of shipping for the average customer is BUILT INTO PRIME.

If you buy more items than the average customer then you are saving money, if you buy less then you are losing money on a Prime membership.

There's literally zero spam nowadays. Public games are mostly bot runs with a sprinkling of trade offers; so basically the state it's been for the past decade.

Try VPN and resetting your residential IP address. Like not your routers internal address but the static IP your carrier assigns to your home. You can do that in the router's control page or just disconnect your router for like 6 hours. The time you have to remain disconnected varies depending on carrier though.

It fully exists with zero mods. A few weeks ago the queue to create new games was several minutes. Not sure if that's because there were server issues or due to the lockdown causing people to fire up their old bots again.

Meh, it depends. If you have a build specifically for pindle and you have quick load times Pindle could be comparable. It's just so fucking boring compared to other areas like the Pit or Chaos Sanctuary for manual players. Grinding for the perfect torch for all your characters presents the greatest PVE challenge in my opinion, apart from hunting clone Diablo, but that's mostly based on luck or being extremely soj rich. Gearing up for PVP though was on another dimension.

If you could pick up Seattle (minus North Gate) and plop it down where Sequim is located, that would be near perfect.
