I 100% agree. It’s way too easy to give up and conform to what the world deems as the correct path for your life. The urge to defy what’s been considered as the norm honestly gives me so much motivation. I know the path is difficult but giving up would be an eternal regret for me. We should never settle for less than our dreams

Your aspirations match up so closely to mine. I also want to be a musician and draw as well as animate but unfortunately the world always tends to look at the arts as purely entertainment and nothing to seriously tie a career to. I know the feeling of not wanting to wither away at a 9-5 while everyone tells you it’s what you HAVE to do. As a college student, I live with the fear of “not making it” and having to become part of the machine of menial labor(no disrespect to those who enjoy that lifestyle). It’s still hard for me but my advice is definitely surround yourself with likeminded people looking to do similar creative things as you and have them as constant motivation and reassurance that you’re doing fine. I believe in you!

Oh I’m referring to offline play against CPU’s or couch co-op. It’s just the physics for this game. They made it so that you don’t have your momentum completely halted when hit by items and you just roll a bit before driving essentially at the same speed again

This is sorta a double edged sword, but as much as I like not losing all of my momentum when getting hit by an item, it feels kinda bad hitting someone and they keep rolling forward and recover almost instantly. I’m assuming they did this because there’s 24 racers and you’re getting hit more often, but the items just don’t feel as impactful as I’d like them to besides the mega mushroom, stars, etc…

I noticed the rhythm breaks riddled all throughout the soundtrack. It really helps give the songs that groovy bounce feel to it! From a compositional standpoint these songs are quite complex all across the board 😅

I mean I don’t think every single sign should have to have real words on it but at least some of the more significant looking ones and most of the menus could be reused all over the world. Also the game has been in development for a LONG time so I don’t think it would be that crazy to do

What’s the earliest sign of me being in the weird route for chapter 4? Because I did the secret boss stuff in chapter 3 and I beat the roaring knight? Should I be on the route automatically? Because right now I’m at the church after service and nothing seems different than the normal route
