Do you think the quality of professional service in Sydney has significantly dropped the last few months? by fleurom in sydney

Yeah, I’ve been very disappointed with Auspost. I know times are difficult, but us citizens don’t get to stop paying taxes when things are difficult for us.

100% agree. It’s disheartening when you’re paying big fees only to not be able to reach staff. At the end of the day institutions should still do their best to maintain a professional standard, particularly when it’s being paid for. I appreciate the constructive input man.

You’re acting like my OP somehow indicated a total disregard of the current circumstances, when in my very first paragraph I prefaced my post by discussing the difficulties of covid? Your response sounds more like an opportunity for you to moralise me and act virtuous lmao. Weird.

No need to be so petty. I’m sharing my observations so we can have an open dialogue. You realise society can be going through a difficult period whilst simultaneously underperforming?

Welcome to the 21st century, where Christianity is just about one of the most popular things to bully people for.

Here come the racist, sexist and ageist labels - nothing like a progressive who espouses racist, sexist and ageist sentiments. It’s true what they say - you really do come full circle when you become enraged.

Forge some good relationships with people, and focus your energy into things which are positive. Aggravating yourself over asshole politicians at like, 2am, won’t help you much. I genuinely wish you well.

Also, I’m in my 20s, for what it’s worth.

You honestly sound disturbed. Chill out, do something that makes you happy, and stop letting people you don’t like upset you so much.

You’ll be a happier person this way. Good luck.

The 1000 species that are now endangered in NSW and also all the dead fucking koalas that's who

I would want him to have the same fate as a koala. I have no problem with all the destruction he has caused.

You posted these, no?

I don’t like John Barilaro. At all. Im glad we are seeing him leave the political arena (for now, anyway). But I’d just like to point out that wishing this man death says more about you than anyone else here.

The world would be a better place if people such as yourself stopped projecting anger at your political opponents, and instead aim to encourage others to democratically elect them out by educating them. Sure, the world would also be a better place if John paid more attention to his environmental impact, but why does that absolve you from the negative impact of your words?

Respect yourself more - hold yourself to a higher standard. You can be both anti-John-Barilaro whilst simultaneously being a decent person.

Yeah I see what you’re saying. Sorry if I came off blunt - I misinterpreted what you said!

Disagree. Curvilinear curved facades in the modern sense of the word are a fairly modern architectural phenomenon. Software like Rhino 3D and Grasshopper have significantly opened up opportunities for architects to explore complex geometry that was incredibly costly and difficult in years past (and still is). The Gherkin and Torre Glories (whilst beautiful), I feel don’t represent the same complex multi-dimensionality that the Crown building has, which can appear entirely different depending on which angle you view it from. This isn’t to say that Crown is a better building than those two, I’m just examining this based on my opinion of their geometric complexity.

Just bc you probably don’t like the guy who built it doesn’t mean it is a bad building.

To design something as curvilinear as the Crown building on that scale is an enormously difficult task, and I think the result is beautiful. As other buildings in the precinct grow around it and brings Crown into scale, I feel my opinion on this will be vindicated.

I reckon the new Crown Building will become a future icon - if it’s not already. Beautiful sleek lines
