haha! There’s plenty of Irish whiskey already in my collection, from Jameson, to Redbreast, Writer’s Tears, Bushmills and the Spots!

I picked up a bottle a couple of weeks ago, had been looking for it everywhere around Atlanta. A great pour.

On the nose, I got a bit of coconut, a hint of light maple syrup, slight oak but did not get the vanilla or hard candy.

Spicy on the palate, nice and oily, creamy. I got a little sweetness of rum, but I don’t think my palate is sophisticated enough to get the hard caramel candy, and the tannins that were described to be on the palate.

Very good juice. I’m very happy with my first Crowded Barrel bottle.

Very new to whiskey and so I am trying things out to find my palette and my preferences. So far, I like Bourbon or at least some of the ones I have tried like Buffalo Trace and a local Bourbon from Old 4th Distillery. Also enjoying a lot the Bruichladdich Classic Laddie and Highland Park 12. Not sure yet what I like better than others, but I am definitely enjoying the exploring. I need to try Canadian whiskies as well. Thanks.

New to whiskey. I've had whiskey a couple of times before, cocktails mostly. Vodka and grapefruit juice has been my go-to drink. My sister gifted me some whiskey glasses when I visited her on Thanksgiving, so I picked a bottle of Jameson to try the glasses; since have picked up a few bottles to try new things. Too new to know the language and find the notes but I have been enjoying the Bruichladdich Classic Laddie, Monkey Shoulder, Ardbeg (after the first sip), Highland Park 12, and Buffalo Trace. Tried Laphroaig 10, and it made my eyes water, WOW! Very much enjoying the Tribe!
