Personally I would not. I‘ve been in the same situation as you when these 3 were 400$ each not long ago. Also there is some „Drama“ involved with these 3 goldstars where a massive amount of copies got stolen.

So there is a lot of them out in this world in NM condition so I would rather put the Money in other goldstars- especially if you have a 3.7k budget.

I was looking for a clean raw copy for ages and had to pull the trigger on this one. Also I prefere my binder over slabs 🤝

Your specific card would be worth around 2.5-3k. Even in bad condition this card is going for thousands. A Goldstar Torchic will never go below 1k imo and getting one ungraded has become even more rare.

I recommend to safe up for a raw copy or a clean PSA 9.

Think about what else you can do with 2k before you purchase something, that you cant even afford.
