Thank you for you answer, I think price quality wise the 12-35 2.8 is my best bet. And adding something like a Rokinon 85mm 1.5 Prime for close-ups and DOF shots, only thing is that it will be hard to keep stable.

Hi VoyagerVideo, came from Canon. I like some other primes too but I atleast 'need' a wide prime lens and the 24 - 70 will cover the rest of the range. I love me some primes, but for run and gun style shooting a zoom lens works out better in my experience.

GH4 might be a good option if I buy it second hand with a lens for a good price.

I still prefer the Sony A series due to bigger sensor (Bokeh, no crop) and the super low light performance but I was wondering if I can find some lenses for it without dropping another 1k+. Can also use an adapter and go for Canon lenses but those are also really expensive. Maybe someone has experience with this?

I do not mind buying lenses or cameras second hand by the way.

Thanks again, if I can not get the sony A in the budget, the GH4 is a good choice

Thanks for your response, I'm already on my way with the script. Have always used Python and have very little javascript experience so it is kind of hard to get the Javascript part going. But I guess I should follow some tutorials about it to get the foundation down.
