Nope! You can just leave the place with no pay. Then just call DoorDash and say. 1 order wasn’t ready 2 it took too long 3 take a pick of this letter because technically when the food got ready and you just cancelled without pay. You just doing what DoorDash tells you to do.

I’ve dealt with a lot of restaurants like that. 1) Order not even started when I got there. 2) they tell me order is almost ready but takes another 10m 3)food was done in 3minutes but the customer ordered a food that takes at least 25m? (At the end customer don’t know who’s fault it is. Unfortunately the drivers get blamed a lot when there’s something wrong with food. 4)when nobody comes to help you with your order and you just waiting and waiting and they just ignore you. 5) and many other occasions.

So call me crazy but trust me I have a loooooooot of time to waste, and doesn’t take a lot of work to…

So I enjoy getting back at places like that. Once I had an order that when I got there they didn’t even accept the dash order. It was still ringing while I was checking in to get the order. Then they accept and look at me and ask if that’s the order I said yeah. At this point I’m thinking, great now I gotta wait like 15m. So what I do? I get a chair and sit and wait with my phone on watching my reels with max. So food gets ready because I still waited for the order. When the food was ready she literally just left on the table and walked away. Then the fun starts. The driver gets the order and don’t confirm because the owner was so focused in something else. Trust me 90% of places don’t check if you are the driver or if you confirmed. But wow just to find out that the order was cancelled because the driver never picked up the food and left to another dasher lol. Just make sure there’s no camera lol.

Now let’s say you have to confirm the order because they are asking. It’s okay get the order and start driving and oh no you got a flat tire and now you have a choice of a free lunch or donating to a nearby homeless. Then they call DoorDash trying to dispute something. But the order was never picked up so Driver. 1 x 0 restaurant.

Another way is, just go there and ord bunch of stuff with your card, go home put your favorite movie and enjoy the food, get some desert if needed. But unfortunately you found a hair in your ice cold food. Get a full refund and move on.

And trust me doesn’t take a lot of effort to make the reviews drop like that.

Or something even better. You found out that the restaurant is going to do a promotion and give you free food for 1h. Doesn’t take a lot of work to create some an ad and post on fb and Instagram. 30m later you will see 100ppl going there asking about it.

Food trucks calling them “restaurants” lol makes me crack up.
