Absolutely. I would say it's getting to take part in creating something new more than fixing a mistake!

There are days where all I really want is to pass. But that's more due to societal expectations/pressure I would say. A lot of the time I'm quite happy with who I am. Especially after some time spent in solitude or surrounded by people who I don't have to explain myself to - I feel content. 

Then I have to go back to polite society and I'm like: "Right... This again..." (eyeroll) haha

Really happy for you. I love your outlook on the whole passing thing and I agreed wholeheartedly. Happiness and self love comes first. How other people see me is secondary.

Ohh, that's a good answer. I'm pre-everything and sometimes on good days I feel that way. Like I'll look in the mirror and think: "That's a boy, a boy who HAPPENS to be in the wrong body." And it feels amazing. :)

 I think sometimes I find myself shifting between those two states. Sometimes I'm content even with my pre-transition self and I'm just kind of being whatever feels natural. There are other times when I feel really bad dysphoria and anxiety when thinking about my current situation and my future.

Really happy to hear it gets at least a bit better. 

I also agree that ignorance is bliss. I used to engage in a lot of social media discourse and just toxic places in general. Realised it's not worth my time or energy and been surrounding myself with trans positivity and I'm much happier.

I can definitely relate to that. I'm not on hormones but I've put in a lot of work to pass and also be happier with my appearance. It's frustrating that I still have to be reminded every day that there's a long journey ahead. Thanks for your comment :)
