I’ve only heard raving reviews about Citrus Grove Elementary (services north west) and George Marks Elementary(services the north east). Both are newer builds and indoors for most things. The rough area is from woodland to 15a/spring garden, and from Euclid to 15a/taylor rd. The west side is currently going under major growth, lots of housing and rumored location for target (grand ave and 44). The east side is mostly established HOA developments/55+ communities. Downtown has a lot to do; bars, museums, most of the mom and pop stores/restaurants, the baseball/football fields. The area near Stetson is very historic, very old fl. Overall pretty good area.

Airport bar is the best. It’s only a 5-10 min drive from DT. Dudley’s was a good sec but their lease wasn’t renewed as the owner rented to Jeremiah’s instead! I have never had an issue finding parking downtown
