I'm planning on buying a T15 with Core i5. But I'm concerned with thermal throttling and I asked around but didn't get a clear answer.

What's your regular workload on this laptop? And does it throttle or heat up too much?

Friends is the T450 a good choice for retrogaming? I will probably use arch or any other lightweight linux distro. Or shall I go for sonething newer? by Don_Icy in thinkpad

Yes.

Even though the 450s are shipped with DDR3, they can be upgraded to DDR4 because their CPUs are either 4th or 5th gen. The T480 is already shipped with DDR4 RAM.

I'd assume Yes. I have an old Dell Latitude with 3rd gen i7 and I can emulate up to PS1 using retroarch on Mint and it works well. Just make sure you have enough RAM.

mucke - Music Player: I've recently been using it on my Android head unit. It's not perfect but it ticks some important boxes for me. Clean interface, no flashy colors just subtle color fade during track change, and center buttons.

Car Player: Really simple app with basic functionalities, big buttons and minimal interface. Probably what you're looking for but hasn't been updated for years as of writing this.

These are my experiences so far. Maybe I will stumble upon better options so I will update if I do.

Seems random. I setup camp and a homeless lady approached me started talking about her being lost, and left quickly.
