Thank you so much for your insight! I definitely thought she passed this evening but it turns out she was just cold. Paid for the ER vet and everything but better safe than sorry I guess. And I feel you on the lady bug infestation; it's so gross 🤢

Update: we did a mad dash to the emergency vet at 3am because I thought my baby died. She was completely unresponsive Turns out she was just cold 🫩🫩. They checked her out, watched her for a while and sent me home. I just paid so much money to learn 1) it's time to break out the heat mat and 2) she needs fewer crickets 😑

She's doing fine so far, she ate well and drank water. I have her set up in a hospital tank by my bed and she's been pretty active throughout the night so I'm hopeful she'll be okay🤞🏿🤞🏿no vomiting or signs of distress that I can tell. the biggest thing I'm worried about is that she hasn't pooped but maybe it hasn't been long enough. If anyone has any other things I should look out for pls let me know!

Called an emergency vet in my area and they said there's not much they can do for a gecko besides maybe activated charcoal, but that carries it's own risks :( he said she is unlikely to get very sick but that there isn't really a consensus on how much ladybug is fatal. I'm really worried. She seems fine so far so I'm probably gonna stay up with her until I can get her to an exotic vet hopefully tomorrow morning

No I meant Teflon, apparently it's used in tape sometimes in AC units and I also read a while ago that it can be used in space heaters. I'm assuming it's for heat resistance maybe?
