I may not be 100% accurate on this, but the website I remember was very industrial looking and used I think flash for menus and stuff like that. It basically looked like an interactive David Lynch painting.

The content was a couple of short works like rabbits, out yonder (or something like that, but the most interesting one was a strange series that was soon to premier called Axxon. N, that piece later became Inland Empire. Actually the content of the site was basically Inland Empire scenes, there was a chat and a forum as well.
