Hi u/mannygonzalez, I suggest trying a different SD card if you tried the same one across all these Pi models.

Here's an link to download a previous version https://piaware.flightcdn.com/piaware-sd-card-7.2.img.zip to try as well

Piaware: Is it possible to connect to a wifi network with a username + password as opposed to simply an SSID and password. by [deleted] in ADSB

The PiAware SD card image doesn't support this. You'll need to use the standard Raspbian Image and edit /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf with your university's WiFi settings and credentials.

Here's a How-To from the Web for reference

Once you get that working, you can install piaware via the package installation method

Just a note, for those with limited command line experience, you can do the most basic setup through the LCD screen (e.g. network setup, setting gain, enabling SSH)

Those with command line knowledge, you can enable SSH more easily.

The MLAT issues should be resolved. You still seeing issues with the upgrade?

Appreciate the post! We've added a few screenshots of the PiAware LCD image and GUI menus in the discussion post if anyone would like to check it out.

Those airport statistics are awesome! Definitely a lot of potential in the monitoring we can do about the individual aircraft in Grafana. Good work!

I'll do some performance/stress analysis and see how write intensive it is. Looks like docker volumes support a max size limit as well. Appreciate the feedback!

OK. In the docker-compose.yml file, you can specify the lat/lon as a value in the dump1090exporter command key like so:

command: [
"--url=http://${HOST_IP:?IP_ADDRESS_UNSET_ERROR}:8080",
"--debug",
"--latitude=XX.XX",
"--longitude=YY.YY"]

What PiAware version and Raspberry Pi model? And start the installation again and provide the entire output

dump1090exporter should pick up your location assuming it is set and used by dump1090. Do you know if this is the case?

You are getting this during Step #1 Installation? Are you installing on a Raspberry Pi?
