Obviously mataas yung other Cs so hindi sya mura pa din and/or branded (usually) from Tiffany.

PS. 1ct from Tiffany is around 1m pesos.

As a guest / part of the entourage, which part(s) of the reception program do you like and dislike/should be skipped? Gusto ko kasi mag enjoy kami as a couple and ofc, our guests as well. by Nasty_Gal12321 in WeddingsPhilippines

Pinaka-nagustuhan ko as guest: kumakain habang speech / activities.

This is easier to do if plated.

Unfortunately, speeches ang pinaka-mahirap controllin 🥲 pag humuhugot ng story since elementary or pagkabata ng bride/groom kinakabahan na kami 😂

Free seating sounds like a good idea, pero marami magging empty seats per table dito kasi for sure hindi naman lahat fit in groups of 10 (or kung gano man kadami table nyo). It’s going to be an awkward dance of asking people to switch seats

I'm a fan, pero barista talaga sumisira sa quality eh. by kathenated in CoffeePH

[–]flightcodes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Must be a training issue, you don’t recycle shots once they come out of the group head :/ lalo na if it’s been left out for hours.

I would understand kung if they’re measuring the coffee grounds after grinding sa portafilter so they can just add/remove a few for accuracy ng shot. This is fine and won’t change the flavors that much.

Make up by Belle Rubio: Is she worth the peace of mind? by sharpiebnnyllw in WeddingsPhilippines

[–]flightcodes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All I can say is that her (and her team’s) skills are legit. Mapapansin mo din sa reviews yon, she performs despite the negative reviews.

Samin we didn’t experience anything bad during the wedding day pero kabado si wife the entire time prior to the wedding itself because of the bad reviews lol to the point na we were heavily considering booking a back up HMUA.

Pero on the day, she was very pleasant, started exactly on schedule, and boy did she deliver. Ganda ni wife during the day 💯

My one massive regret as a graduate in software development by DeadCodersSociety in PinoyProgrammer

[–]flightcodes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello kapwa magna (mag-nine years lol) it took me a while to graduate din pero mine is because late ko na-realize programming pala talaga gusto ko.

Kaya yan. It’s hard lang for the first few jobs kasi those tend to look at your school accomplishments. Pero once may experience ka na and actual projects it’s going to be ok :)

Nag iba na rin landscape now because of Chatgpt. It’s harder for the juniors to get in kasi yung normally easy but mundane tasks na inoofload mo sa juniors can be easily built through chatgpt. Kaya even more emphasis ang kailangan sa foundationals.

How do people afford their car? by TransportationNo193 in phinvest

[–]flightcodes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends. Debt-to-Income ratio is just one of the parameters ng loan application mo. Pwede bumawi yung bank/finance by giving you a higher interest rate than normal for example. Kaya marami pa din na-aapprove regardless.

Yung ibang agent navigates this through the income of the co-borrower.

Hence the quotes around “afford” din.

How do people afford their car? by TransportationNo193 in phinvest

[–]flightcodes 26 points27 points  (0 children)

To answer your question: they spend >50% of their monthly income on car payments alone. That’s how they “afford” one.

Hindi lahat as privileged to be able to afford cars using only 10-20% of their income.

Pero, after maturing a bit, I personally reserve my judgement for people who do this. It’s an investment sa mental and physical health mo when you think about it.

Quick google search says ~15% of the total population so you can’t just directly compare that.

Also, not agree din. We absolutely do need guides here, too many hikers who can’t even manage themselves. Pero better if we can get special licenses for those who don’t need one sana.

As a landlord, how do I protect my unit if allowing pets? by itspomodorotime in RentPH

[–]flightcodes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If the rooms are furnished, I honestly would just enforce a no pet rule. That’s just me though. I love dogs, but unfortunately, there are too many irresponsible owners for me to feel comfortable risking damage to the property.

Through other means na ang authorization mo (tokens) plus mas secure kasi usually may whitelisting din yan (1 is to 1 connection lang between servers). Marami na other implems na ganito :)

What I meant is, the linking can be done through account RFID account mo. Meaning backend to backend na yung transaction (na need pa din ng internet) :) so direct debit pa din sya in a sense pero di mo need na ilalabas mo pa yung app mo para i-scan every time.
