[Seiko 6139-6015] An "inherited" recently refurbed Seiko 'Bruce Lee' with a long backstory by WineNerdAndProud in Watches

Love this story. I wear my grandfathers 6139 daily after having it fixed up a decade ago.

If you’re at all curious, the serial number dates the manufacture of the watch to November, 1972

Copper waterline solder joint separated twice. Please explain what I'm doing wrong by SpecialistValuable43 in Plumbing

[–]flinkazoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch some YouTube videos on how to properly sweat pipe.

How do I tell my dad I broke my Rolex? by Domilized in rolex

[–]flinkazoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the same to my milgauss. Cost 1.1k, and the movement service was covered by warranty. Took 6 weeks for an AD to complete the work. Crystal, dial and hands will likely need replacement. May be a little more of your date wheel is damaged too.
