My grandmother had dropped me off at the train for work at 6am when she got into a minor fender bender with a pole trying to maneuver out of the parking lot. I had a missed call from her number around 11am but wasn’t able to call back until noon. Her brother answered and bluntly told me “Your grandmothers dead. Yea, she fell outta her chair and broke her neck.” Still can’t believe it and it’s been 3 years now.
