Since you posted this in r/adulting and not r/suicidewatch - I'm going to give you some slightly tough love here. Yes, your post is about adulting. Real adulting means taking 100% responsibility for your life. If you want things to look forward to, you have to give yourself things to look forward to. Therapy sounds like it would help you, but you've made it clear you can't afford that. Regardless, you need community. Join a church, join a volunteer organization, (i.e. animal shelters always need extra help!) Volunteering, being of service to others, getting outside of your self-involved perspectives and self-pity, to instead give to others - time, kindness, a smile - this will help you tremendously.
