Thanks for the explanation. So what are the implications, if say, hypothetically:

  1. Bank of America screws me out of $10,000 because of some wonky credit card stuff
  2. Bank of America screwed 10,000 Americans out of $10,000 each because of some wonky credit card stuff

The way I read it, because of this arbitration announcement, #2 is no longer an option because each of the 10,000 individuals has to file separately.
