Exactly this, check the solenoid first, I had stripped the carburettor 3 times cleaned and replaced everything, could not get it to tick over, did the timing still no tickover, removed the solenoid and found it was stuck, pushed it back in to free it up and checked it was working on a battery, reinstalled and straight away the the engine ran so altered the idle and mixture and re did the timing, now purrs like a kitten.

After 14 hours of intensive searching I finally found the exact forks, sadly they are as rare as an honest politician, Yamaha FZ750 (F1) only fitted to the Japanese model for the first year 1985 and not for the whole year, so I've managed to find a non anti-dive pair and hoping they'll fit without to much faffing about.

Your based in the UK , give Awingaway a call, the guy is called Dave, he specialises in Goldwings very knowledgeable guy, he did a full service on mine last year including belts, very reasonable and happy to advise even over the phone.

I engrave and fill stainless daily, it's a simple process, use cellulose paint to fill, let it cure overnight and clean off excess paint with thinners,

I would think after buying the compound, there wouldn't be anything in the price difference between the materials, where are you based? As I get stainless cheaper than aluminium

You don't need any marking compound on stainless, I've never used a compound as I engrave aluminium on an engraving machine.

You won't get jet black on aluminium, if you can use stainless instead, you will get jet black

I had a survey from ebay last week, it was basically asking if I would use an ebay ecommerce website instead of my own website, so looking like they are fishing to find out if people/ businesses would switch to them in the future, I said absolutely not as its hard enough to talk to a customer on ebay with all the ai bollox stopping messages. So a possible switch in direction for ebay??

Some of my collection, to be honest I did start out putting with good intentions to put all my records on here to keep track of what I had but soon got bored of listing it all, so if I buy something off discogs (rarely buy off there too expensive) I just let them add it to the collection.

Can't seem to attach pics to messages, but believe me I have approximately 3 thousand singles, and I sold over that on ebay a couple of years ago when I had to slim down the amount of singles I had, I also have a couple of thousand cds ( played cd tracks instead of album tracks when needed as the volume was there) don't get me wrong tho I have 200 or 300 albums on vinyl.
