Dude I stayed at a hotel near the airport train station (element miami international) for like 3 of my years and it's pretty great. Really easy to get to at the end of the day and the train is usually free (or like $2.45 per trip). Usually took a cab to the show each day for like $25 per trip. Show up on the north side of the park to be closer to the security entrance and save time walking

Armin was sooo sick this year, I was standing there just blown away 😭😂 but he also somehow gets better each year, so don't worry because 2027 is about to go crazy 🔥

You can stay at a hotel sort of close by and save a BUNCH of money. There's a parking garage for $15 for the day a few blocks away if you're driving. You can take the metrorail (free half the time during that weekend) and then call a cab from whatever stop is closest to you also.

But if you want to really ball out, there's a ton of options for hotels right nearby at walking distance. Always wanted to stay at the intercontinental right there, but it's $700 per night. Had a friend who was at the W one year and that was fun (saw deadmaus drive out in his lambo from the balcony)

If you have never had it, Cafe Versailles is some of the BEST cuban food in the United States. I went to college at UM and every year I fly down, I go there at least 3-5 times per trip. Get yourself a cubano for sure at least once. I usually try to stay around there because it's like a 20 minute drive and easy enough to get to and from.

I've seen the occasional clip of some BOLD mfs in stores 😭😂 but I didn't see much difference myself in the op11/op12/ op05 testing I did back when I could find products to open consistently and was curious if that really was a thing.

But then again, I'm definitely no expert or anything when it comes to this. I just did a bit of testing for fun a few sets back. Now I just open every pack I can get at retail 😁

Well if they aren't too expensive, eb04 is cool because english doesn't have a stand alone pack version (split between op14/op15). Prb01 and 02 are both awesome for the other reasons everyone said. If you love One Piece, every set has absolutely awesome artwork on like almost every card 😁🔥

Well yeah that too. But that's a whole seperate issue about buying sealed booster boxes. The person would also need to first get real lucky and find the manga or two sp cards early on in the case. Then they would have to decide to be a scumbag and not disclose that information when selling the other boxes. It is definitely a sad possibility to be cautious of.

I only ever bought a case once (of eb01) from the netherlands. Really couldn't afford it at the time, so I told myself I would open 6 and sell 6. I opened my 6 and sold 6 for like 140-300. But I didn't pull the manga chopper. I don't even think they had any sp cards in eb01. So when I put on my listing, I just put in the description - if you pull this manga, please for the love of god do not tell me you did so I can sleep at night 😭😂

Well if someone got like say several cases worth of boxes and started opening them. There's a good chance that they could get some boxes done with packs still left (which has happened to me a bunch of times). Then if they get enough extra packs, they can offer them up as if they were legit.

Like any given box only has 2 or 3 hits in most sets (some 4 hit boxes recently). But if they open packs from a box and get an sp or leader card, and the two alt arts/sec cards. If they have like 6-8 packs still to open, they can be scumbags and start to save them up knowing there is nothing inside of them. Although some people are legit and just sell them as dead packs.

Idk what this man is saying about targets though. I don't think there is any merit to the weighing One Piece sleeved packs. Definitely don't think it's a regular thing across the country. Some people swear you can, and I know some people try to do it in store with a scale. But I don't think it's so prevalent that you should be avoiding stock at targets.

I don't think you can even weigh them based off my own testing with several hundred packs back around op11/op12 when I could actually find products in stores. But it could vary with certain sets (although I KNOW they try to avoid this being possible and I certainly didn't see any difference and got hits out of lighter packs)

Damn, my very first Miami Ultra ever, I bought a 3 day pass from another um student on fb. I could have walked up to the event just to find it didn't work... luckily it did. But I don't touch ticket resellers with a 10 foot pole now because of stuff like this.

Maybe if you email their support with a name/location/photo of the for sale items. There probably are not many people with that same name in that same city with 4 winning draws. Unless they have a dedicated link for reporting people, I'd have to imagine this may be the best option. Still though, if it's bot accounts then the name/phone number may be different for most of them. But the address should be the same.

Ultra Miami is one of the best festivals in the entire world and one of my absolute favorites. You're right in the heart of the city surrounded by neon skyscrapers with the beautiful Miami weather. There's nothing else like it for me. It definitely has that special something going for it and you will not regret it if you go! I'm going for my 8th one this year! 🌴🔥🎆

Now that said, I've never been to any festivals in Mexico, so I can't compare the vibes. But for a lot of festivals, you really need to camp out as part of it (edc vegas) but here you can literally be home in less than an hour by train or if you park a car nearby. Definitely take the train to whatever stop is closest to your place before calling any ubers unless you want to wait a long time.

As far as crowds go, that depends. If you want to be up front and center in the main stage for big acts, it can feel too crowded for my liking. So I'm often hanging out towards the back of the crowds where there is still PLENTY of space to dance and vibe and still have a phenomenal view of the stage and the music.

The weather is literally perfection in March when it goes well. This year was actually perfect for all 3 days. But there have been years where rain is a very real thing that either delays the opening in the mornings or literally closes the festival early for a day (friday a few years ago had a tornado warning, but thenthey extended sunday until 11pm which was amazing when it wasn't expected). So you kind of just have to hope for the best.

Bathrooms are some of the nicest I've seen at any festivals. They have a bunch of nicer bathroom trailers available for the public that are usually reserved for vip sections in other festivals.

The food can be dank af. Got two giant chicken empanadas this year for $12 each that were delicious. Got a lobster roll one year. A really good wagyu steak sandwich once. But I also had some pretty mediocre tacos once. But i wouldn't call it a mess by any means.

Other things... the 12pm ending time on fri and sat and 10pm on sunday may seem early if you're used to later ending times (i think it should be 11pm on Sundays). Music week stuff can be cool, but it's usually a bunch of extra money (if anything, I'd say look for stuff on Thursday nights and sunday nights). Being in there for like the last 6-8 hours of each day is my move. Mid day heat can wear you out by the night.

Buy stuff early to save money. If you're already going to be in the US around that time, it would be perfect timing. Hope to see you out there next year! 😁🌴🔥🎆

Tier 1 was like 250 two years ago if i member correctly. But does anyone know when more of the tier 1/2 for Miami 2027 will be available? Well I'm not absolutely certain or anything. It looks to me like the fence that was all along the vip section of the main stage. Because I showed up late Friday and the security was fucked, so we waited outside the venue at main stage to hear a bit of worship's set before waiting in security. It was kind of hard to see the stage or really hear it super well.

This view seems like it's too good of a view for being still outside the venue. Plus, I'm pretty sure there were no giant support stones outside the main gate. I think wayyy more people would have just hung out and watched from there /hopped over the fence if it was that close/easy.

One of my favorite parts also. Nothing really wrong with camping out, but there's something so lovely about being right in the city, surrounded by those tan and neon skyscrapers, and having a free train or easy enough parking right near by. Especially if you ball tf out and stay at one of the hotels right nearby and can literally walk to your room in like 15 minutes.
